Drs Irvine and Appleby are the main Practice Trainers whilst Dr Martin looks after the more junior doctors doing a 4 months attachment with us. We have been a training Practice for more than 20 years now and several of our previous trainees have enjoyed the experience so much that they are now partners in the Practice.

At least four times a year, a fourth or fifth year medical student from Aberdeen University will also be attached to the practice usually under Dr Langran's supervision. You may request not to see this student if you so wish. Whilst we will always respect your wishes without question, please remember that all our GPs were also medical students once!

In our role as a training practice, we may occasionally be visited by representatives from the Northern Regional Postgraduate Medical Education Committee - which may include lay (non-medical) members. Such members also abide by a strict duty of confidentiality. Also, please be aware that your records may be made available to other Health Professionals involved in your care, at the discretion of the GPs.
