Enquiries About Results
Please telephone strictly between 10.30 - 11.00am. If the doctor is busy
with other patients, we will call you back.
Allow at least 5 days before making enquiries, some tests may take
longer.
Receptionists are not permitted to give out detailed results of
tests.
Test results will usually only be given to the patient themselves
(or a parent in the case of children). If you wish anyone else to
receive your results, you will need to discuss this with us first and
provide written consent before we will do this. This is to protect
patient confidentiality. If you are enquiring about information
contained in a letter rather than a result per se then we ask you to
make an appointment instead.
