The REACT Protected Learning Time Project (Inverness locality) is now entering its sixth year and the Pro Learning Time (Badenoch & Strathspey Locality) Project its third year. These successful initiatives have provided all primary health care staff, (Doctors, Nurses, Reception Staff, Physiotherapists etc), within the localities, with access to quality training and education.

All patients reap the benefits of this. They are treated by individuals who have regular access to protected time to develop, update and enhance their skills.

In order to continue to operate this quality development, all the Medical Practices and other primary care health facilities in Inverness, Culloden, Aviemore, Grantown on Spey, Kingussie and Laggan, will close for 10 afternoons this year. The dates when they will close are listed on the attached sheet. These premises will be closed on these dates from 1.30pm.

Please take a note of these dates. For any medical emergencies, an enhanced Out of Hours service will be in operation, so the closures should have no adverse effects on your care.

Please note, if you are picking up a prescription on any of these days, you should do so before 1.00pm.
